What people say

A playful educational introduction to the natural process of losing a tooth. A great point of departure for easy, playful conversations about teeth with a child. The illustrations are both strong and vibrant, leading to a final “colour it yourself” drawing. A fun follow on to Blue in the Tooth, also by Esther Gough.

Marlene

A helpful book for parents to reiterate the importance of looking after our teeth. The author relays the important message in a fun and colourful way with punchy prose. A great little book for our little readers.

Really enjoyed reading this book to my niece as it reminded me of my grandmother who insisted everything on your plate had to be eaten including offal pie and runny egg white or it would be sent to the starving in Africa.

Esther creates some wonderful characters and the rescue cats are also great fun. The book is very well written and beautifully illustrated throughout.
